What’s your favorite part of cheerleading? My favorite part of cheerleading is the family bond our team has! We have a very talented group of girls and everyone puts 110% effort on and off the field!

What’s your favorite part of cheerleading? My favorite part about cheering is all of the different cool skills we get to show off. Whether it’s tumbling, stunting, or just chants, I love performing what we can do!

What’s your favorite part about Friday night games? My favorite part about FNL games is the atmosphere. There is no better place to be on a Friday night than a football game. The opportunity I have to help build up energy within the black hole from the sidelines is so cool.

What’s your favorite Mason cheer memory? Our first nationals when we placed in the top 5!

Norah McDonald

Norah McDonald

How long have you been cheering? 11 years

What’s your favorite part of cheerleading? The bond I have with my teammates and my coaches. Micaela has been our coach since the end of 7th grade; I’ve also known Big Dog since I moved to Ohio in 2019. While being best friends with your teammates is a common thing across many teams, it’s not on every team that the coaches are part of that family too.

What’s your favorite part about Friday night games? Getting to tumble on the field. I love tumbling and it means it’s an exciting moment: either the beginning of a game when the football team is running out, or they just scored a touchdown!

What’s your favorite Mason cheer memory? The Middletown football game in 2024, when we beat them in the very last seconds at their homecoming. The energy was electrifying!

What’s your favorite part about Friday night games? When we score a touchdown, and all of us, the Mason fans, football players, and coaches, get so excited! The atmosphere is the best!
