BEN HANLEY

The Senour-Flaherty Insurance Company proudly recognizes Ben Hanley, junior starting pitcher for the Mason Varsity Baseball team, as this week’s Mason Spring Athlete of the Week.

Hanley delivered a dominant performance on the mound against Oak Hills, tossing a complete game shutout with 12 strikeouts and zero walks. His precision and power were on full display, helping propel the Comets to another key conference victory.

So far this season, Hanley owns a 3-1 record, having pitched 31 innings. He currently leads the Greater Miami Conference (GMC) with 47 strikeouts, along with a stellar ERA of 1.58 and WHIP of 0.77. His two shutouts also top all pitchers in the GMC.

Hanley’s consistency and leadership on the mound have been instrumental in the Comets’ continued success this spring, as Mason recently clinched its seventh straight GMC title.
