El Caporal proudly congratulates the Mason Comets Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team on being named this week’s Team of the Week!

The Comets have continued their GMC dynasty in 2025, dominating the lacrosse field this spring with an impressive 15-3 overall record and a perfect 10-0 mark in GMC play. Since lacrosse became a league sport in 2019, Mason has remained the team to beat—claiming four outright GMC titles and sharing two others, a testament to their consistent excellence.

As the #2 seed in the Regional Tournament, the Comets are set to host Springboro tonight, Thursday, May 22, in their next postseason matchup.

The team is led by Head Coach Jeff Bumiller, whose leadership has been instrumental in the program’s continued success.
