Winning our first ever GMC in 7th grade because it was the first time we all truly realized the value and impact of hard work. |

All of us are able to work together and get the crowd and parents cheering. What is your favorite memory with Mason cheerleading? Winning the GMC competition consecutively for the past 3 years I have been on Varsity. |

Ally Kemme Varsity Cheer GRADE: 12 How long have you been involved in cheerleading? 8 years What is your favorite part about cheerleading? My favorite part about cheer is stunting and tumbling. I enjoy cheering with my teammates, we don’t just cheer the football team on but we cheer each other on as well. |

Aubriana Mettey Varsity Cheer GRADE: 12 How long have you been involved in cheerleading? 11 years What is your favorite part about cheerleading? My favorite part about cheerleading is being surrounded by people who share the same love for the sport that I do. Being able to be a part of a team that is as close and driven as ours is such a privilege. What is your favorite memory with Mason cheerleading? My favorite memory from cheerleading was sweeping GMC last year from middle school all the way through varsity. Showing that we are truly one of the best programs, if not the best, in the area and celebrating all of our hard work with the entire program is something I will never forget. |

Olivia Sabatino Varsity Cheer GRADE: 12 How long have you been involved with cheerleading? 10 years What is your favorite part about cheerleading? My favorite part about cheer is the stunting and tumbling because not only do I get to be in an environment that has helped me to grow within these skills and learn new things, but I have also had the pleasure to be a part of a team where we all cheer each other on even on the hardest days. This is something I am so grateful for. |

What is your favorite part about cheerleading? My favorite part of cheerleading is the community. I have grown up with these girls and they are such a huge part of my life. How encouraging my teammates are when we tumble or try a new skill that we are scared to throw. Everyone just tells you that you are capable of being successful and they cheer you on even if you don’t succeed in what you wanted to do. It’s just something I’ve always loved to experience and it makes me feel more determined and supported. |
