MICHAEL MURPHY

Michael is a senior on the  Mason Baseball Team.

Michael Murphy is being nominated for Athlete of the Week for the Mason Comets Varsity Baseball team due to his monster 2023 season, as well as being a leading athlete in the classroom, locker room, and on the diamond.  Michael has been a constant leader from off-season workouts, through the evaluation process and a constant leader through the season.  Michael is as competitive of an athlete as it gets, who has invested an unparalleled commitment to himself, but even more so, to his team.  Michael’s hard work is paying off, as he is among the GMC leaders in many offensive and pitching statistics.  In seven games so far this season, Drew is leading the GMC in the following categories:

0.41 ERA
