Sauer Wins Sectional Bowling Title!

The Comet Boys Bowling Team had a "marque day" at the Sectional Championships on Thursday. Mason boys entered the day as a longshot to win, with moving on in the top 7 seemed to be a sure thing.

Going into the competition, the Mason boy's were ranked 4th out of the field of 18 teams. Jonathon Davis led the boys off with a terrific 263 game, best in the house.

The second game was led by Damian Sauers' 248. Then Ogden Nijikowski led the Mason boys with a 226.

It was a tremendous start putting the Mason boys solidly in first place, well ahead of the closest challenger.

Team bowling started up after the lunch break and West Clermont took on the challenge of making up 170 pins. Mason struggled and was actually down going into the final Baker game. Mason surged back into the lead with a solid 218, just enough to finish 5 pins above the West Clermont Wolves.
